Competition Terms and Conditions
The Competition is open to people who are 18 years or older and are residents in Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Belgium, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom, except for employees of Kilroy, their families and everyone else associated with either the company or the competition.
Kilroy reserves the right to verify the winner’s age and disqualify any winners under the age of 18 years old or whose conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Competition. Persons who submit an entry agree to these terms and conditions.
How to Enter
We are open for applications from the open date 01/12/24 to the final application date 27/12/2024.
To be eligible to win the competition, you must fill out the competition form and agree to sign up to our newsletter. You'll find the form through the button at the top of this page. By entering the competition, you give us consent to reach out to you in case you have won the competition.
The Prizes
1. Participants in the Competition have a chance to win a trip to Costa Rica with KILROY, consisting of flights and a 16-day program consisting of accommodation, local transport and a surf camp in Costa Rica. There will be one winner across all participating KILROY markets (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Belgium, The Netherland and the United Kingdom).
The planning and duration of the trip will be handled by KILROY. When you'll travel is up to you, as long as your trip does not extend past the 15th of December 2025. A KILROY travel agent will help with the booking process.
2. All prizes will be provided by Kilroy International in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Costa Rica. Participants are responsible for carrying valid photo IDs, passports, and any other required documentation such as visas, travel insurance and/or proof of vaccination, prior to departure, and are responsible for all associated costs.
3. Prizes and their travel arrangements must be booked by 31/03/2025 for travel before 15/12/2025.
4. Prizes claimed are subject to Kilroy’s standard booking terms and conditions.
5. Prizes are subject to availability. Kilroy reserves the right to substitute the prize, or elements of the prize, with a prize of equal or greater value.
6. Exchanging or returning prizes is not possible. The prize is personal and not transferable or exchangeable for money.
Winners
7. For this competition there will be one winner chosen across all participating KILROY territories. A random winner will be picked from everyone who filled out the competition form and subscribed to the newsletter. The winner will be notified before the 10th of January 2025 and will have until 17th January 2025 to accept their prize. Failure to do so may result in another participant being awarded the prize instead.
8. Kilroy’s decision is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
9. If the winner is not able to book their prize by 31/03/2025, the prize will be forfeited, and a replacement winner selected.
Responsibilities
10. The winner acknowledges and agrees that they are solely responsible for any tax implications, including but not limited to income taxes, associated with receiving the prize.
11. Participants’ data will be processed by Kilroy and is subject to Kilroy’s privacy policy.
General
12. Kilroy reserves the right, at its own discretion, to exclude Participants from the Promotion if Kilroy has any reason to believe the Participant has violated these Terms and Conditions.
