Gap Year Programs FAQ
Who can join these gap year programs?
As a specialist youth and student travel agency, these gap year programs have been designed for young adults aged 18-24. These programs are ideal if you're considering taking time out before starting university or before starting work after graduating.
18 is the minimum age to join one of these programs, but there is no upper age limit. If you're in your late twenties or even in your thirties, these trips are still a great choice for you.
The group tours included in these gap year programs attract 18-30-somethings, while the volunteer projects appeal to people of all ages. To be eligible for a working holiday visa in Australia, New Zealand and Canada, you must be between 18-35 years old.
I'm a solo traveller - are these gap year programs right for me?
Of course! Our gap year programs are ideal for solo travellers, as they include group tours, volunteer projects and work/travel packages that are designed to help you meet new travel buddies and friends. You won't be the only solo traveller, that's for sure! And you'll have the help of your own travel expert to guide you every step of the way.
How long do your gap year programs last?
The duration varies and can be tailored to suit your travel plans. Where volunteer projects are included, these can range from one week to six months.
Group tours can be anywhere from between a few days to seven weeks. It depends on the destination and the style of travel. If you prefer to travel in groups with a set itinerary then you can package together multiple group tours to last as long as you like.
With working holidays, British passport holders can live and work in Australia and New Zealand for up to three years, and up to two years in Canada.
Ultimately, these gap year programs can be designed around you, whether you want to travel for just a few weeks or a couple of years!
