Los Angeles

We've added an arrival package with 3 nights in Venice Beach in Los Angeles to break up the long journey all the way to Hawaii. Don't worry, Los Angeles is cool! Check out the cool vibe at Venice Beach, go for a cozy stroll along the Venice Canals or absorb the atmosphere in vibrant Santa Monica. If you have a car here you should go for a trip to Griffith Observatory where you'll get a splendid view over the city. After 3 days here, board the plane and continue to Oahu where your road trip awaits.

Honolulu

You'll start off in the 'capital city' of Hawaii - Honolulu. Grab a board and catch the perfect surf waves on Waikiki Beach or take a walk in Ala Moana Park between Waikiki Beach and downtown Honolulu. Bishop Museum & Planetarium and Iolani Palace are also worth a visit. And maybe most importantly; don't miss out on the beautiful volcano Diamond Head.

Koko Head

A short trip south east of Honolulu you'll find Koko Head. Challenge yourself and climb the more than 1000 stairs to the top of the Koko Head Crater. The prize? A view so magnificent that you'll immediately forget that you almost couldn't breathe on your way here.

Waimanalo Bay

Are you ready for some serious beach action? Waimanalo Bay is one of the most stunning beaches you could ever imagine. Crystal clear water and sand as white as snow. Get ready to drop your jaw.

Kailua

Besides having nice beaches, Kailua is wellknown for it's popular Kailua Farmers' Market where you can buy awesome local delicacies. If you are the active type we recommend that you have a go at the Maunawili Falls Trail. Remember appropriate footwear as it can get pretty muddy.

Valley of the Temples

Located in a lush valley at the base of the Ko’olau Mountains, check out this beautiful memorial park. The scenery here is absolutely stunning and the flora is very rich. You'll also find a replica of the japanese Byodo-In Buddhist temple.

Windward Coast hiking trails

Stop along the Windward Coast which offers plenty of exciting hiking trails and especially the Nuuano Pali Lookout offers a breathtaking view. Also Nakoa Trail in Kahana Valley State Park and the Makua Ridge Trail is worth a visit.

Waimea Bay and Valley

On the northern shore of Oahu take a break in Waimea Bay. It's one of Hawaii's most famous spots for surfing during the winter, and in summer a visit to the botanical garden Waimea Valley is a must. If you're more into life under water, you should definitely go snorkelling in Shark's Cove.

Haleiwa

Now that your road trip has taken you to Haleiwa it is again obligatory to go surfing. Nearby Ehukai Beach is a part of the longest surfable strecth in the world. If the waves get to intimidating take a paddle under the famous Haleiwa Bridge or enjoy the sunset at Alii Beach Park.

Plains of Oahu

In the heart of Oahu you'll find a great variety of activities. Check out the lush farms including the infamous Dole Plantation, visit some of the big shopping malls or go for a walk in one of the small hawaiian villages.

Honolulu

Now you're back where the road trip started. On your way from central Oahu you absolutely MUST stop at the legendary Pearl Harbor. After one week on the road, you deserve to lean back at the beach, enjoy a Blue Hawaiian and suck in the feeling of time standing still in Hawaii. Ahh. Then go for surfing again.
