Arriving in Nairobi, you’ll find a city bursting with energy and excitement. There are of course the standard city perks: local markets, great food, sightseeing and the like. If you're looking for a taste of adventure, try zip-lining in Karura Forest or take a guided bike tour through Hell’s Gate National Park, where you can ride among zebras and giraffes. In the evening, meet your new travel buddies over some good food and drinks before it's time to hit the road early morning the next day!
The Masai Mara is one of Africa's most famous and breathtaking wildlife reserves as it offers some of the best safari experiences in the world. Here, you can witness the awe-inspiring Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move in a massive loop through Tanzania and Kenya in search of green fields to graze on. This natural spectacle draws predators like lions, cheetahs, and crocodiles looking for their next meal.
Aside from the migration, the Masai Mara is home to the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos, which you can often spot on game drives across the vast savannah. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to learn about the rich culture of the Maasai people, who have lived in harmony with the wildlife for generations. Their traditional villages, vibrant attire, and unique customs provide a fascinating cultural backdrop to your adventure.
Next up is one of the big highlights of this trip! In the Serengeti, you'll experience the ultimate safari adventure. Over two nights, you'll camp in the heart of this legendary landscape, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.
During the day, embark on exciting game drives to spot lions, elephants, cheetahs, and herds of wildebeest and zebras. As the sun sets, return to camp for a relaxing evening around the campfire, sharing stories and enjoying the vibes. At night, gaze up at the clear, star-filled skies, at the Milky Way and perhaps spotting a shooting star. What a place.
Next up on the itinerary is the gorgeous Ngorongoro Crater. This natural wonder, with its steep forested walls, grassy plains, lake, and fever tree forest, offers the chance to see many of Africa’s iconic animals, including the rare Black Rhino. After an exciting morning of wildlife viewing, we head back to camp for lunch.
In the early afternoon, we leave the park and descend to our next camp in a village among the Masai people. Later, a Masai guide will take us on a tour of the village, sharing insights into their culture, traditions, and how they balance their ancient way of life with the modern world.
You end your group adventure in Nairobi and fly directly to Zanzibar. Now it's time for you to relax, you deserve it! Chill and diving - you'll have a blast!
