You kick off your adventure in Kathmandu, where we've arranged your first 4 days. You'll get picked up at the airport and taken to your hotel, where you'll have some exciting activities included. Get to know the mix of Buddhist and Hindu influences and experience a city full of history, religion and culture.
You'll be exploring the city by bike and on foot with the chance to sample local delicacies and witness the morning rituals of locals as they visit the temples and monasteries.
It's time to challenge yourself with a trek in the spectacular Himalaya mountain range. You'll travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara where you'll join your group for the adventure. Over the course of six days you'll marvel at Himalayan peaks including Machhapuchhare, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. You'll also visit mountain villages and stay in local tea houses.
There is around 25 hours of trekking during the trip, but we can guarantee you that it's worth every minute. You'll end the trip in Pokhara where we recommend you take a few days at leisure to relax after your challenging hike.
Here you have the chance to spend some time at your own leisure. You could rent a scooter and explore the city on two wheels, or perhaps you'd prefer a leisurely boat ride on the scenic Pokhara Lake. You can even try standup paddle boarding on the lake, if that's your thing.
We've not included accommodation in Pokhara in this itinerary but we can add that in for you - just let us know whether you want something basic and easy-going on the wallet. Or something a little more luxurious.
Find your own way back to Kathmandu where you'll join a 3-day tour of Chitwan National Park. Here you'll have the opportunity to spot lots of different animal species including rhinos, antelopes, monkeys and even tigers (if you're really lucky).
Once you're wildlife adventure is over, you'll be transferred back to Kathmandu where you'll get a flight to India.
Your next stop is Kochi in the Kerala province of southern India. Here you have the option to enjoy some time on your own. We suggest that you spend around three days here before joining your next tour.
This 7-day trip takes you through some of the coolest places in the southern part of India. First stop is Alleppey, where you'll learn about life along the lagoon and canals before sleeping in a homestay. Next up is Kollam where you can enjoy the beaches or check out the local nightlife. From Kollam you continue to the local fishing community of Varkala where there will be plenty of time on your own to explore. The trip ends back in Kochi which is where your flight home will depart from.
