This itinerary is just a suggestion and can be customised to suit your unique travel plans. Make it longer, make it shorter. Add in the things you want to do. Get in touch with our travel experts to turn this itinerary into your dream Sri Lanka and Maldives combo trip.

Ahangama 8-day surf camp

Surf's up! On arrival in Colombo, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to Ahangama where we've partnered with a really cool surf camp. You'll have 8 days to master the board and the Sri Lankan waves. Use your body during the day, and your social skills during the evening. The camp is always full of young backpackers looking for a good time - surf, eat, have fun, sleep, repeat!

Sri Lanka 7-day tour

The next seven days will take you through the stunning natural landscapes of Sri Lanka and will no doubt leave you speechless. You'll start this trip with a visit to Udawalawe National Park and a jeep safari to spot wild elephant. Next you'll pass through Ella with the chance to admire the view from Little Adam's Peak and enjoy the beautiful Ravana Falls.

From Ella you continue towards Kandy, the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings, which is now a World Heritage Site. From Kandy you move on to Polonnaruwa to explore the ancient city and its impressive Buddhist statues. Then prepare for a challenge, as you tackle the hundreds of steps leading up to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress.

Enjoy one last safari game drive in Minneriya National Park before transferring to the airport for your flight to Malé.

Malé Arrival package

Start your trip in the Maldives with two nights in the capital of Malé. You'll be collected at the airport and taken to your accommodation. It may be a capital city, but Malé isn't exactly big, so you'll have plenty of time to explore the sights before setting off for tropical paradise in the atolls.

North Male Atoll 8 days of island-hopping

Ai ai, captain! It's time for a sailing adventure. Board the ship and head out in the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean, because island hopping is what's up next! In the coming 8 days, you can look forward to some awesome snorkelling adventures in the turqouise waters, some white sand beaches and relaxation at its finest. Question is whether you 'by accident' miss your next flight home, because this trip will make you want to stay in the Maldives forever.
