Barcelona to Lisbon 10-day group tour

Start your journey with a 10-day group tour from Barcelona to Lisbon. Along with like-minded backpackers, you'll get an unique chance to experience the local culture at a slow pace. Exploit the opportunity and make new friends from all over the world while enjoying some of the coolest scenes in Spain and Portugal in the best way possible. The tour starts in Barcelona where you'll enjoy an orientation walk along Las Ramblas. Take some time to visit the Gaudi buildings, or explore the Gothic Quarter before boarding an afternoon train to Madrid. Another orientation walk helps you get to know the city before you have time to explore independently. Lisbon Two days at leisure

We've included an extra two nights of accommodation in Lisbon as there's just so much to explore and experience. You'll stay at Secret Garden Hostel in the centre of the city and have plenty of time to ride the scenic trams, head to the hills for stunning views of the city and consider a day trip to the colourful castle of Sintra.

Ericeira Learn to surf like a pro!

Included is one week of full-blown awesomeness in a surf camp where only good vibes are allowed. Embrace the authentic surfing lifestyle and join like-minded travellers when you arrive at the surf camp in Ericeira.

Surf lessons, accommodation, breakfast and rental of surf gear is all included. Ride the waves of the Atlantic Ocean as you spend most of your days accompanied by your surf board. In the evening you can either choose to chill in the surf camp or explore the nightlife by the town's beach promenade, where you'll find plenty of bars and the legendary Ourico nightclub.

At the end of your 8-day surf camp, return to Lisbon for your included flight home to the UK.

Experience the best of Spain and Portugal on this three-week itinerary that takes you from Barcelona to Lisbon via Madrid, Granada, Seville and the Algarve to end with a week-long surf camp on the Atlantic coast.

 

This itinerary starts out in Barcelona where you're going on a 10-day group tour with like-minded backpackers all the way across the Iberian Peninsular. Once you touch down in Lisbon we have arranged the first nights at the centrally located Secret Garden Hostel that has quite a youthful and hip vibe. Get to know every corner of the city and join other young backpackers for a memorable time in the Portuguese capital.

After your couple of nights in Lisbon, head 45 minutes north to the surf camp in Ericeira, where you have 8 days with other surfers from all over the world. Break the waves. Meet new friends. Get exhausted in the water during the day. Relax in the surf camp in the evening. Enjoy that cold refreshment that you deserve. Repeat!

Cross into Portugal, and enjoy the Algarve Coast with free time for hiking, water activities, or chilling out oceanside.

Journey up the coast to Portugal's vibrant capital, and enjoy an orientation walk. Free time to visit Cristo Rei for sweeping views of the area, check out the monuments of the Belem neighbourhood, or relax in a cafe. Indulge in the town's great nightlife on your Big Night Out.
