Rent a Kuga campervan from Travellers Autobarn in New Zealand

The Kuga campervan is ideal for 2-3 travellers on a budget AND still prefers to travel New Zealand in "style".

The Kuga campervan is fully equipped for travelling and living comfortably in New Zealand. Take it to the city, the beach, fjords or anywhere else on the North and South Islands.

With plenty of storage for your personal items, all you need when you rent this campervan, is to throw in is your sense of adventure. The Kuga features a practical and comfortable interior, with a new kitchen and bedding fit-out from 2016-2019.

It further provides you with extra internal height, compared to the traditional Hitop Campervan from Travellers Autobarn. Spacious enough to stand up and move around inside, this is the perfect choice for 2-3 travellers.

The Kuga campervan comes with built-in fridge, gas stove and microwave - the ideal compact campervan to rent for your travels in New Zealand.

Please note. The high season for campervan rental in New Zealand runs from mid November to late February. The earlier you book, the cheaper. As availability goes down, the campervans become more expensive. So don't wait too long to book your New Zealand adventure!

Driving and sleeping the Kuga campervan

The Kuga is a compact vehicle and simple to drive. It features power steering and manual transmission. If you are not familiar with the steering wheel to the right and driving in the left side of the road, don't worry, it will only take you a short while to get comfortable.

The front cabin seats 3 people (two adults and a child) while driving, but only 2 people can sleep in the double bed at the rear of this campervan. If you bring a child, there is a short top single bed (length: 160 cm). During the day, the double bed can be stored and a table pops up. Up to 4 people can sit comfortably and enjoy a nice campervan dinner. Under the bunks you have space for luggage.

Kitchen facilities

The Kuga includes a living space with build-in kitchenette. Here you will find a sink with electrical pump (the water tank holds 35 L), microwave, 2 burner gas stove and the 57 litre fridge. A practical side table folds out when the side door is open. Cooking utensils such as cutlery and crockery are practically stored in drawers and cabinets.
