Work with children abroad
If you're passionate about the wellbeing and development of children around the world, join a childcare volunteer project with KILROY. You'll learn new skills, immerse yourself in a new culture and help educate the next generation.
Work alongside local staff in under-resourced kindergartens and community centres to provide essential care and support to children in need. Whether you're new to childcare or already have a qualification, our volunteer projects are the perfect opportunity for you to develop your knowledge while getting to know a new part of the world.
Accommodation, meals and arrival transfers are included in each of our projects, and activities are often an added bonus to help you make the most of your time in your chosen destination.
What to expect from childcare volunteer projects abroad

Depending on the destination and project you choose, you could be assisting in a range of environments, including community and day care centres, after school programs and kindergartens. Working alongside local staff, you'll be providing mentoring and educational support, and taking part in the daily operations.
Working with young children, you'll need to be warm and caring, investing in their emotional needs as well as their educational needs.
Volunteering abroad fosters a two-way cultural exchange and you'll learn all about the local culture while bringing a global awareness to the people you work alongside.
Whichever childcare project you choose, you'll leave with invaluable real-life experience of the initiatives, practices and support required to provide children with a safe place to learn and grow.
