Help improve lives and contribute to vital building projects
If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and working with your hands, join a construction and renovation volunteer project with KILROY to help improve the lives of local people in Asia and Africa. You'll have the opportunity to make a visible, long-lasting impact on under-resourced communities while learning new skills.
Work alongside skilled local foremen to support building new structures for community use, renovating existing community buildings, and improving local infrastructure. It's a rewarding challenge that will teach you numerous practical skills - no experience required.
Accommodation, meals and arrival transfers are included in each of our projects, and activities are often an added bonus to help you make the most of your time in your chosen destination.
What to expect from a construction volunteer project

As a volunteer you'll be providing hands-on assistance in building projects designed to support the developmental goals of local schools, community centres and recreational facilities within under-resourced communities.
You could be constructing new pathways, toilets and walls, maintaining existing structures built by previous volunteers, helping with gardening or lending your artistic talent to decorating these structures.
As well as practical construction skills, during your project you will also gain valuable experiences and cultural exchanges together with the local people you work alongside.
Construction experience is not required and you'll be under the guidance of skilled local builders and foremen.
It's hard work but there will be plenty of free time to relax and explore the local area.
