Melbourne to Brisbane East Coast Whimit + Nomads Bedhopper Pass

Itinerary

There are no set itineraries with Whimit. All of your travel is on Greyhound-operated sectors between Melbourne and Cairns. Everyone’s travel style is different. Whether you are travelling for short or long trips, there is a Whimit for you. Those travelling between Adelaide, Alice Springs, Darwin, Broome,
Tennant Creek, Toowoomba, Miles, Longreach, Mount Isa, and Charleville are specifically excluded.

Important Information

Each pass is valid for 12 months from date of purchase, consecutive travel days starts from the first day of travel. The first day of travel is to commence within 12 months of purchase date. To give you an idea of route distance and travel time, here are a few examples:

SYDNEY TO BRISBANE:
1000kms or 15 hrs & 45 mins
CAIRNS TO MELBOURNE
3500kms or 3 days
CAIRNS TO SYDNEY
2600kms or 2 days
BRISBANE TO MELBOURNE
1800kms or 1 day & 17 hours

FAQ

How is it managed?
After purchase, you will receive a booking confirmation from us with the details of your booking. With this, go to www.greyhound.com.au to register your My Greyhound account. With this account you can add, change and delete trips in real-time. First day of travel must commence within 12 months from the date of purchase.

Is it consecutive days?
Yes, to make it super simple, Whimit is consecutive travel days.

What determines a day?
A day is considered from midnight (00:00 hours) to 11:59pm (23:59 hours). Overnight services count as two days of travel.

What about overnight services, can an overnight service be travelled on the last day?
Travellers who start their trip on the very last day of their Whimit, will be able to complete their trip even if it ends on the day after the Whimit has expired

Important Info:

- Package components must be used in conjunction with each other and cannot be used separately
- Package is non-transferrable
- East Coast Whimit Pass is valid for consecutive days of travel from first travel date
- The first day of travel is to commence within 12 months of purchase date
- The Bed Hopper Pass will be provided by Nomads with booking subject to availability. We recommend contacting each hostel as far in advance as possible to confirm bookings
- During peak periods beds, do book out. Failure to make contact before arrival will result in no space available
- Greyhound Australia’s standard terms and conditions of travel apply
