Tuesday - Arrival into Australia

Welcome to Australia! Your exciting adventure begins as you step off the plane onto Sydney soil. As you touchdown at the airport, follow the easy steps to hop onto the pre-arranged airport shuttle that will take you to Nomads Sydney. At Nomads Sydney you will be greeted by our awesome reception crew. With the evening ahead of you. It’s the perfect time to unwind, shake off any jetlag, and simply enjoy the moment. Relax, settle in, because tomorrow brings the start of an exciting week ahead with new friends!

Wednesday - Welcome Orientation

This morning at 10:00, you'll meet with the WTC crew for your welcome orientation. You'll also have the chance to connect with other working holiday travellers. During this session, we'll provide a brief overview of your package inclusions and give you comprehensive information about working and traveling in Australia. Our team, all experienced travellers who have been in your shoes, will support you with anything you need and answer any questions you may have. After the orientation, we'll schedule one-on-one consultations with the WTC job consultant to help you get started with job placement. Tonight, you will visit our favourite party bar for some dancing.

Thursday - Job Seminar and Support

This morning, you'll attend a job search seminar where you'll learn valuable tips and tricks for finding work in Australia. Our team will ensure you're fully prepared for living and working here, and we'll get you registered with our WTC jobs program, connecting you to our extensive network of employers. Following the seminar, any scheduled one-on-one job consultations with our staff will take place.

Friday - Bondi Beach Vibes, East Coast Orientation and Group Dinner

Your East Coast adventure begins today! First, meet the WTC crew at the office, then join the Nomads team for the iconic Coogee to Bondi Walk. Late morning, we’ll explore Sydney’s stunning cliff-top coastline, visiting six beautiful beaches along the way. Take a swim, work on your tan, or simply enjoy the breathtaking views before we finish at Bondi Beach. This afternoon, your epic journey kicks off as you meet the Meet Me East Coast representative and your fellow travellers for an orientation, where we’ll walk you through the exciting itinerary for the next 28 days. Start the adventure with a bang at a lively welcome dinner at Scary Canary (included), setting the perfect tone for the trip ahead. After dinner, head to the orientation room where our enthusiastic team will guide you through all the details of your East Coast adventure - an experience of a lifetime. It’s more than just going over schedules; it’s your chance to bond with the awesome travellers who will be sharing this unforgettable trip with you. After orientation, hop on the overnight bus and get ready for a fun-filled journey to Spot X!

Saturday - Spot X Mojo Surf Camp

Today marks the kick-off of your 4-day surf adventure as we arrive bright and early at Spot X Surf Camp, nestled somewhere between Sydney and Coffs Harbour, south of Byron Bay. Positioned right on the beachfront, Spot X is a haven dedicated to the surf lifestyle, situated in a National Marine Park that showcases the beauty of Australia's coastal regions. Upon your early arrival, drop your bags and dive into the refreshing waves for a swim to kick off the day. Lunch will be served at midday, and after checking in, it's time for your first exhilarating surf lesson. Return, kick back, and then embark on a unique kangaroo trek, exploring the coastal bushland around Arrawarra. Witness resident kangaroos and their joeys in their natural habitat, passing by Indigenous midden sites with fossilized shells. Cap off the day with a hearty dinner followed by hanging out around the campfire, enjoying a couple of cold ones (or "frothies"). It's a perfect way to wind down and share stories under the stars at Spot X Surf Camp.

Sunday - Spot X Mojo Surf Camp

Rise and shine, surf tribe! Catch the epic beachfront sunrise, and fuel up with brekkie at 07:00 - gotta prep for round two of epic surf vibes. After shredding the waves, kick it beachside or sprawl on the grass or hammocks, just soaking up those sun-soaked feels. Post-lunch, toss on your swimmers - we're hitting the surf for some rad rafting action. Then, it's free ride time! Grab your board whenever the stroke hits, and we'll reconvene for a gnarly dinner sesh. Cap the day with frothies, good company, and tales of epic rides. It's the surfer's paradise rhythm at Spot X, where every wave tells a story, and every sunset's a call to chill.

Monday - Spot X Mojo Surf Camp

Day 3 at Spot X brings another dose of Aussie surf vibes, and you're riding the waves like a seasoned pro! Fuel up for the day with a laid-back brekkie - because every epic surf day starts with a hearty meal. Following breakfast, gear up for your final surf lesson, the ultimate chance to polish those Aussie surfer skills and soak in the exhilaration of the ocean. Today's adventure at Spot X Surf Camp goes beyond the waves, as we introduce a unique cultural experience. Embark on an immersive journey through millennia of cultural history with a captivating beach and bush walk in the pristine marine and national parks of Arrawarra. Guided by the esteemed Garby elders, this experience promises to be both historical and entertaining, providing valuable insights into the ancestral connection between the people and the landscape. Discover traditional knowledge through a warm welcome to country and an educational session on the Garby Wadjar. This experience is intended to foster the conservation of language, culture, history, land, and stories in this pristine location through an informative and engaging encounter. Witness native animals in their natural habitat, from kangaroos and echidnas to reptiles and marine life. Immerse yourself in the profound relationship between indigenous peoples and the local land and sea. Tuesday - Spot X to Byron Bay

Bid farewell to the iconic Aussie surf haven at Spot X, leaving with newfound surf skills, and hop on the bus headed for the renowned Byron Bay. Upon arrival at the bus station, your Meet Me Byron tour leader will welcome you, leading the way to the iconic Arts Factory, your home for the next couple of nights. Once checked in, dive into the Arts Factory's unique culture. Where your tour leader will walk you through the exciting Byron itinerary. Your adventure in Byron Bay will start like no other with an authentic Aussie energy boost as you meet our guru, Cockatoo Paul, who leads his renowned Bush Tucker Walk around the Arts Factory. Immerse yourself in authentic Australian bush survival skills, learning tricks like extracting water from a tree, turning plants into sunscreen, and more. Cockatoo Paul also delves into the basics of our native flora and fauna, providing a fascinating insight into Australia's unique natural environment. After the Bush Tucker Walk, we'll head down to Apex Park for some laid-back tunes. Feel free to bring your own snacks or grab some takeout from one of Byron's many delicious restaurants. Get ready for a truly memorable Byron Bay experience!

Wednesday - Byron Bay; Yoga, Fire by Friction, Byron Walking Tour

Start your day with a relaxing guided yoga session led by our in-house instructor. Immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings and prepare for a laid-back day in Byron Bay. After Yoga, take part in the Fire by Friction workshop. In this workshop you will learn a unique fire-starting method, a life skill that may save your life one day! This afternoon, you'll be hanging out with your local Meet Me Byron tour leader. Join the group as you stroll through the lively streets of Byron, soaking in the tunes of street musicians. We'll then venture on the famous lighthouse walk, taking in the spectacular views. Cap off the day with some chill time at Byron Bay beach, where you can unwind and bask in the coastal vibes. Cheers to a day filled with adventure and good vibes!

Thursday - Byron Bay, Kayaking

Today, embark on an unforgettable sea kayaking adventure, paddling through the surf to experience some of Byron Bay's most renowned waves. Encounter friendly bottlenose dolphins up close, witness the grace of sea turtles as they surface for air, and marvel at the majestic humpback whales during their migration (May-Nov). Your kayaking tour guides are not only experts in kayaking but also surfers, self-proclaimed local historians, and seasoned watermen. With their in-depth knowledge of Byron Bay, they ensure you have the best possible experience. Relax and let them guide you around Byron Bay in two-person, sit-on top-style sea kayaks, alongside your fellow tour group legends! The tour concludes on one of Byron Bay's pristine beaches, where you can indulge in an ALL-you-can-eat Tim Tams treat. The rest of the day is yours to explore Byron your way, whether it's immersing yourself in the Arts Factory culture, relaxing by the pool, or venturing into town.

Friday - Byron Bay, Sunrise Lighthouse Walk & The Farm

Start your day with a breathtaking sunrise walk to the iconic Byron Bay lighthouse, guided by our Byron Meet Me Local tour leader. As the first rays of the sun illuminate the horizon, you'll have a chance to soak in the stunning views and capture the perfect morning photos. After the sunrise walk, your tour leader will guide you to The Farm, a working farm that houses a collection of micro-businesses united by a common goal: to grow, feed, and educate. Here, you will witness firsthand how a farm operates, supports the environment, and contributes to a healthier lifestyle. Join the farmers in front of the wishing well to meet their muddy mates during breakfast time. They will share fun and fascinating facts about the farm animals while they feed. Immerse yourself in the world of regenerative farming with a Guided Farm Tour. An experienced farmer will take you through The Farm, explaining sustainable farming practices and how food is grown in harmony with nature. You'll gain a deeper understanding of regenerative farming, particularly suited to the unique Northern Rivers climate. Meet the free-ranging chickens and learn about their role in the farming ecosystem. See the pigs enjoying their muddy habitat and discover how they contribute to soil health. Stroll past vibrant flower fields and appreciate the beauty they add to the landscape. Marvel at the gardens where the ‘Growers Collective’ produces organic, spray-free, local produce. Saturday - Noosa: Arrival and Group dinner

Welcome to the Sunshine Coast, where the laid-back charm of Noosa awaits! Drop your bags at Nomads Hostel and soak up the vibes by chilling out poolside. This evening, join your Meet Me group for a group dinner, kicking off an exciting night ahead. After dinner (included), get ready to explore the vibrant nightlife of Noosa with your fellow travellers. Whether it's discovering local bars, enjoying live music, or simply strolling along the beachfront, tonight promises to be a memorable experience in this beautiful beachside town.

Sunday - Noosa: Farmers Markets, National Park and Sunset Drinks

The next day, the Meet Me leader will take the group to the farmers markets in the morning to explore local produce and artisan goods. Afterward, you'll head to Noosa Main Beach where you'll have free time to swim, relax, and explore the beautiful surroundings. From there, the tour leader will guide you to Noosa National Park for a spectacular hike. The hike at Noosa National Park offers breathtaking coastal views and the chance to spot native wildlife along the way. As you trek through lush vegetation and scenic coastal trails, you'll be treated to panoramic vistas of pristine beaches and turquoise waters. It's a perfect opportunity to connect with nature and capture memorable photos of this stunning natural environment. In the late afternoon, reconvene with your group for sunset drinks at KB's bar Relax, unwind, and toast to a day filled with exploration and natural beauty against the backdrop of a stunning Noosa sunset.

Monday - Noosa Everglades

Today, embark on a remarkable eco cruise through the Noosa Everglades, one of only two Everglades in the world. Departing from Nomads Noosa, you'll then board a purpose-built eco vessel designed to glide through the serene and picturesque waterways of this unique region. Known as the “River of Mirrors” for its stunning reflections, this pristine stretch of water offers fantastic photo opportunities and views of landscapes unchanged for thousands of years. Expert guides will provide insightful commentary on the rich history of the area as you navigate through this extraordinary environment. This cruise offers a chance to experience Australia's best accessible wilderness, with abundant wildlife and over 44% of Australia’s bird species found in this region.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - K’gari tour

Departing from stunning Noosa Heads, our K’gari Swag Adventures Tour is a three day / two night adventure for the traveller who’s high on life and wants to experience everything this magnificent world heritage listed island has to offer with a clear mind and undiminished senses. Whether it’s cruising down K’gari’s famous 75 mile beach highway, submerging yourself in its pristine lakes & streams or staring in wonder at the only rainforest in the world that grows on sand, you’ll want to soak up every moment in this natural wonderland. Swag camping accommodation on K'gari: K’gari Swag is for the adventure traveller who will enjoy the day four-wheel-driving, exploring all that K’gari has to offer and sleeping under the stars the Aussie way in their very own swag. First used by Aussie bushmen in the 1800s, a swag is a uniquely Australian piece of camping equipment which has come a long way since its humble beginnings. Our swags are top-of-the line, designed to keep you warm, safe and dry on any camping adventure. A swag is about the same size as a single bed, so we allocate one swag per person, but couples can share a swag if they choose to. Swags will be set up in groups of two so partners and friends can stay together. At the end of each memorable day, guests can relax and unwind around the campfire sharing stories of the amazing day they have just had alongside a few quiet drinks while they wait for their dinner. Our camp is protected by a well-maintained dingo fence and is only a short stroll to the beach.

Itinerary is tide dependent so subject to change. Here’s a sample; Embark on your K'gari 4WD adventures today as Day 1 unfolds bright and early. The journey kicks off with a pick-up from Nomads Noosa. After securing your luggage in storage, the convoy heads towards Rainbow Beach, a two hour drive. Upon arrival, a brief stop allows us to gather other guests and the 4WDs. Once the vehicle orientation wraps up, our exciting journey to the remarkable K'gari begins. The next leg of our adventure involves taking the ferry from Rainbow Beach, landing at Hook Point on the southern tip of K'Gari (Fraser Island) approximately ten minutes later. Before settling in at the campground, we'll start on some explorations, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience on this stunning island. Each evening the group returns to our Eco-Certified K’gari Swag camp, the camp is protected by a well-maintained Dingo fence and is only a short stroll to the beach. The site has Aussie outdoor beach shower (cold water). As it’s a genuine K’gari beach camping experience, daily swims in pristine freshwater lakes replace showers on this awesome adventure. Drinking water is provided. Absolutely everything you need for camping is also catered for, as our 1 person swag tent includes Foam mattress and pillows. Lend a hand with dinner preparations, and then enjoy the evening hanging out with your newfound friends. It's a day packed with exploration, stunning sights, and camaraderie in the heart of K'gari. Prepare for another early start on your second day, ensuring we make the most of your time on the island! After indulging in a continental-style breakfast featuring cereal, toast, spreads, tea, and coffee, the K'gari adventure continues. While the itinerary may vary based on tides and weather conditions, the goal is to explore key highlights such as Lake McKenzie, Eli Creek, Maheno Wreck, Champagne Pools, Lake Wabby, and a drive along the iconic 75 Mile Beach.

Thursday - Noosa & Post Tour Party

After a morning filled with exploration on K'gari, it's time to bid farewell and journey back to Noosa. Upon checking into the hostel, gather with your group at the hostel Bar for a lively post-tour party. Sip on drinks, nibble on snacks, and share laughter while reminiscing about the unforgettable moments of the past couple of days. It's a perfect way to wrap up the K'gari adventure and toast to the next adventures.

Friday - Overnight Bus to Airlie Beach

Today marks the final day of your South Queensland adventure, and it's entirely yours to shape. Whether you choose to explore solo, bond with your new mates, or simply unwind and soak up the sun by the pool at the hostel, the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. In the evening, gather with your group as you prepare to embark on the overnight bus journey bound for Airlie Beach, the next stop on your exciting journey.

Saturday - Airlie Beach - Free Day and Group Dinner

After an epic overnight bus journey with your newfound mates, touchdown in the charming town of Airlie Beach, your gateway to the Whitsundays Islands. Since you'll be arriving bright and early, we'll take care of your bags, allowing you the entire day to shake off those bus vibes. Whether you choose to chill by one of the two hostel pools or venture out to explore the local scene, it's your day to unwind and soak in the laid-back vibes of Airlie Beach. As the day unfolds, get ready to kick back, relax, and mingle with your crew for a group dinner at Boaty's. Set on the deck with a great scene and vibe, it's the perfect way to cap off your day in Airlie Beach.

Sunday, Monday and Tuesday - Whitsunday Sailing

Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime! Today, you'll hop aboard one of the sailboats for a magical 2-night journey through the breathtaking Whitsunday Islands. Brace yourself for an immersive experience as you explore the pristine beauty of the area, visit the iconic Hill Inlet lookout, unwind on the world-renowned Whitehaven Beach, go snorkelling in crystal-clear waters, and spend the nights under the stars aboard the sailboat. It's a dream come true - how many friends can boast about sailing around the Whitsundays and sleeping under the stars on a sailboat? Meals are included, and feel free to bring your own drinks to enhance the unforgettable moments on this nautical adventure!

Tuesday - Airlie Beach Community Volunteering

Today, we make an early return from our Whitsunday sailing adventure and volunteer with Eco Barge Clean Seas Inc. for the "Clean Streets and Creeks Clean-Up" initiative at Nomads Airlie Beach. Join us in this meaningful activity aimed at reducing marine debris and protecting our local marine life and environment. Cleaning equipment is included. After the clean-up, relax and enjoy your day exploring the beauty of Airlie Beach. Later, unwind at Boaty's with complimentary drinks and nibbles as a thank you for volunteering your time at the clean-up.

Wednesday - Airlie Beach Exploring and Karaoke

Today, we'll head to the local Airlie Beach lagoon for some leisure time. Dive into the crystal-clear waters or simply soak up the sun–it's your time to unwind or join in some traditional Aussie beach games. As the sun sets, the evening comes alive with Boaty's famous karaoke night. This isn't your typical karaoke setup; it's more of a sing-along vibe. Get ready to belt out your favorite tunes, share some laughs, and make memories in true Airlie Beach style!

Thursday - Magnetic Island, Welcome & Bingo

Welcome to the absolute paradise of Magnetic Island! Following a short bus ride and quick ferry ride from Townsville, your Meet Me Maggie tour leader will be ready to greet you at Nomads. Get ready to dive into the island vibes as we welcome you with a refreshing island cocktail (included). After checking in, kick back on the deck, soaking in the ocean views, and get to know your tour leader. Get ready for a night of unexpected fun as we dive into the famous Maggie Boozy Bingo! It's not your ordinary bingo night - be prepared for a lively and entertaining twist that promises laughs, surprises, and a memorable evening on Magnetic Island. Get those bingo cards ready and gear up for a night of good times and great company!

Friday - Maggie Sunrise to Sunset

Rise and shine early to witness the captivating sunrise right from the comfort of the hostel. After this tranquil start to the day, join us for a group breakfast at the Island Bar, where you can enjoy stunning views overlooking the ocean. Today, your tour leader has an exciting adventure planned as they guide you on the Forts Walk. This iconic hike promises not only breathtaking views from the top but also the chance to spot adorable koalas along the way. The Forts Walk stands out as the island’s most popular walking experience, offering a glimpse into the beauty of Magnetic Island National Park. Traverse through the island’s dry tropical landscape, discovering koalas, enjoying stunning vistas, and encountering remnants of World War II. It's a holistic and immersive experience that captures the essence of this unique island gem. After the invigorating walk, cool off with a dip in the hostel pool and indulge in some well-deserved relaxation. The afternoon is all about free time, and we recommend fully immersing yourself in the laid-back island vibes. Take a swim at the beach, and don’t forget - your hostel has direct beach access. You can even rent snorkel gear from reception for some underwater exploration. As the day winds down, your tour leader will guide you on the Hawkins Point sunset walk. At the summit, witness the breathtaking sunset. It’s the perfect way to kick off your Magnetic Island adventure, surrounded by stunning views and great company.

Saturday - Free Day and Group Dinner

Today is all about relaxation and embracing the laid-back vibes of the hostel. Take full advantage of beach access, dive into the refreshing pool for a swim, kick back in the hammocks for serene moments, or simply unwind on the deck, soaking in the rhythmic waves. Whether you choose to bask in the sun or find a cozy spot indoors, the day is yours to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and recharge by the beachside. It's the perfect opportunity to soak up the serenity of Magnetic Island. Later, gather at the Island Bar with stunning views overlooking the ocean for a group dinner to celebrate our last night on Maggie. Enjoy delicious food and drinks with your fellow travellers, setting the stage for a relaxed and memorable evening. Tonight, promises to be filled with good food, laughter, and the joy of shared experiences.

Sunday - Cairns

After your epic island escape, it's time to bid farewell to Magnetic Island and embark on the journey to Cairns with your group. Upon arrival at the hostel, take the evening to unpack, unwind, and settle into your new home for the next 4 nights. Get ready to embrace the tropical vibes and prepare for an unforgettable stay in tropical Far North Queensland.

Monday - Cairns Great Barrier Reef Snorkel Trip

Today, you and your group will embark on a full-day boat trip to explore the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef through snorkling. Get ready for an immersive adventure as you dive into the crystal-clear waters to discover the vibrant marine life and breathtaking coral formations of this iconic natural wonder. It's an opportunity to create unforgettable memories and marvel at the beauty of one of the world's most renowned ecosystems.

Tuesday - Cairns Cultural Experience

Today, experience something magical with a 1.5-hour Aboriginal art class, led by the talented local artist Munganbana. Renowned for his passion and community-focused approach, Munganbana brings extensive experience and enthusiasm to his workshops. In this session, you'll delve into traditional Aboriginal art techniques, create your own painting, and take home your artwork as a special keepsake (20x20cm canvas is included). Munganbana's workshops are celebrated for their creativity and cultural depth, ensuring a truly unique and engaging experience. After the art class, you'll have some free time to reflect on your creative journey before continuing with the rest of your day's activities.

Wednesday - Atherton Tablelands Fun, Falls and Forest & Group farewell dinner

Today’s adventure takes you on a Waterfalls and Rainforest tour in Cairns - a fantastic, fun-filled journey through North Queensland’s stunning Atherton Tablelands Region. You and your group will join "Gus the Wonder Bus" for an exhilarating day exploring pristine waterfalls and crater lakes, including Josephine Falls, Milla Milla Waterfall, and Lake Eacham. After a day immersed in the natural beauty of the region, end the evening with a group farewell dinner to celebrate the last night of your East Coast trip.
