The Mighty Big Six camper is full of great features, even after fitting up to 6 people. The living areas convert to sleeping areas, with 3 double beds - perfect for travelling families or friends.

With this large van you get all you need for travelling at your own pace through New Zealand! The campervan is suitable for up to 6 people and has three double beds, a shower, toilet and kitchen on board. It is ideal for a large family or a group of 5-6 friends.

Please note. The high season for campervan rental in New Zealand runs from mid November to late February. The earlier you book, the cheaper. As availability goes down, the campervans become more expensive. Don't wait too long to book your New Zealand adventure!

Driving and sleeping

The front cabin of the Big Six seats 2 people while the remaining 4 passengers are seated in the living space. It's a large diesel unit with an automatic transmission. If you are not familiar with the steering wheel to the right and driving in the left side of the road, don't worry, it will only take you a short while to get comfortable. This Mighty Big Six campervan is equipped with seat belts for 6 people. Inside the campervan there are 3 double beds, one above the drivers section (cab), one by the seating area and a double bed in the rear. The centre bed can be stored during the day and a table pops up. Supplied in the camper you will find linen and bedding, kitchen essentials including crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils plus all the general living gear you’ll need.

Don’t forget to pack soft bags instead of a suitcase – much easier to store in the campervan. Read more

Kitchen facilities and bathroom

The kitchen, shower and toilet is located in the centre of the Mighty Bix Six campervan. The kitchen stove has four burners and there is also a microwave oven which is quite convenient when you just need to heat or re-heat your food (requires power hook-up). The 80 L fridge/freezer holds your groceries cold while on the road.

There are three Mighty rental centres in New Zealand: Auckland / Christchurch / Queenstown.
